Trout Fishing

On the slopes above the little village of Volcan is an even smaller place known as Bambito. Famous for its charming Swiss-style inn, Bambito is bordered by trout streams and ponds teeming with fish. It is a magical place, serene and graceful, in a setting that rarely fails to move even the most sophisticated globe-trotter or ardent nature lover.

At Buying Real Estate in Panama we have a team of professionals who are dedicated to helping you purchase or sell your property as comfortably and enjoyably as possible. All of the members of our team have lived outside their home countries. We all know what it is like to set up a life "somewhere else". We understand that as exhilarating as it is to embark on an adventure, frustrations and difficulties in understanding another culture and another country can take some of the pleasure out of what should be one of the most exciting things you'll ever do in your life. Our goal is to keep those frustrations to a minimum by providing you with not only professional real estate advice, but also personal and sympathetic attention.

We also bring with us a passion for all that Panama offers. Our team includes a seasoned salt-water angler who has experience in game fishing and a vast knowledge of boats and equipment for that sport. A horse enthusiast whose family has generations of involvement in the wonderful equestrian pursuits this country has to offer. And our resident architect is more than that. She has an avid interest in environmental issues and the natural beauty and abundance of this land. Yet another of our team was a professional chef before she became involved in real estate. She explores the cornucopia of Panama's culinary experience in her spare time.
You come to Panama with unique expectations. And most of the time, in our experience, your expectations change as soon as your feet hit the ground. Then they change again six months later. And again. It takes a while to find your footing and to find the flavor of a new land.

When we look at a property, whether for a single family or a potential development, our goal is to see it through the eyes of someone who might live there, newly transported from a much different place. We try to put ourselves in that situation and wonder-what would I need here? What would I look for? We hope that gives us a slightly different perspective on things.

Our interest in Panama is also intimately connected with our love of nature and outdoor sports. We are deeply committed to preserving (and enjoying) Panama's abundance on her sparkling waters and in her breathtaking countryside . We believe that the country represents some of the most accessible wildness on the planet, certainly in the Americas. That very accessibility endangers it. Panama's stunning beauty and huge variety of microclimates makes it an ideal place for experiencing some of the earth's most precious remaining assets. These assets will be exploited one way or another. Panama is a nation that welcomes and encourages much-needed tourist and foreign resident dollars. It is our hope that we can encourage those who purchase and develop property as recognize this small nation as the jewel it is.
